Building cladding
The Elite facade system uses natural stone, such as waste
quarry material, ground to a fine flour. This is mixed with
cement and other natural products to produce a versatile
cementitious surface. EFS believes that this represents
one of the most significant advances in construction technologies
in recent times.
The final product is 100% natural and contains up to 70%
stone. The layered structure allows a comparatively thin
application to the backing with excellent bond strength
and highly efficient insulating properties, while its flexibility
allows any shape. This means the product can be used in
many applications, from cladding new buildings or repairing
existing architecture, including terracotta and fayonce
glaze bricks, to replicating historic surface finishes or
building styles. It can also be cast and moulded.
